This state also belongs to the zone of the great lakes, It´s known as “The Keystone State” because if has a stone, stake shaped, which keeps the others in the their place. Although its capital is Harrisburg, the most famous are Philadelphia and Pittsburg.

Sports like football and college basketball are very popular in pennsylvania especially in Philadelphia where college teams have won national titles for football and five universities (known as the Big Five) have a long tradition in Division I of the NCAA of basketball.
There are splendid museums of art and galleries in each corner of the state in cities and small towns as well.
Something to remark, you can see one of the best train collections and trails, the battle fields where many died for freedom. The state´s motto is “virtue, freedom and Independence”. Pocono Mountains and Delaware river offer entertainment activities very popular.
