It´s the state of “The Buckeye State” due to many trees of the specie that once covered its prairies and hills. Ohio is located in the biggest lakes areas. One of the famous lakes to visit is Erie Lake.

Columbus is its Capital, among other we can mention: Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, Akron, etc. It presents a changing climate. Its if doesn´t have mountain chains to protect it from the artic cold and hot air masses of summer, it receives the polar air, dry and cold from Canada and warn and humed air from Mexico Gulf.

Its economical activity is based on soy crops, tomatoes and corn. Cattle and pork, production of milk, chicken and eggs, electrical equipment, etc. Ohio has the biggest Amish Community in the world, founded by a Norteamerican protestant sect originally from Germany.

This state is the birthplace of great people who thanks to the rapid industrialization generated in this state stood out for their inventions and being pioneers in outstanding events, we can mention Thomas Edinson, the Wright brothers (the first to fly a plane) and the famous Neil Armstrong, the first man to pitch the moon

Ohio offers wonderful historical places, buildings and churches ther are some places to visit like part of the world´s largest amish settlement, The Ohio Light Opera, The J.M. Smucker Company store and café, everything Rubbermaid store, etc.
