“The North Star State” limits to the North of Canada and was added to U.S on May 11th, 1858 as number 32 state. Most of its people are concentrated in the Metropolitan area of this Twin cities: Minneapolis and St. Paul (the capital), center of transportation, business and industries.
The rest of the state, known as Grater Minnesota consists on vast prairies dedicated to agriculture. This vast land is also know as the “Land of the 10.000 lakes” such lakes and their other rivers and streams, their parks and forests, offer to its citizens and tourists a vigorous lifestyle on open air.
Some places to remark are both, the Jeffers Petroglyphs, earth monticules for tombs and sacred ceremonies or rituals of the ntive people and its forests, offering wonderful nature.
As a festival, we can mention “The Minnesota Fair State” One of the country with relevant educative and agricultural entertainment. This state is among the healthiest, and it has the most educated and literate populations.
